One Card Closer: Privacy Policy
Mobile app privacy policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026.
One Card Closer is an offline social card game application designed with user privacy in mind. The app does not require users to create an account or provide personal information to play. Game progress, favorites, and application preferences are stored locally on the device. The current version does not use third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, or behavioral tracking.
In short
- No account, sign-in or membership. The app is free, with no ads, no AdMob, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no Firebase Analytics.
- The app works offline. This version has no code that sends your game progress, favourites, settings or answers to the developer or to any server.
- No third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics or tracking user behaviour.
- The app does not listen to or record what players say aloud.
- No camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or notification permissions.
- Your preferences, favourites and unfinished game stay on your own device.
- Optional 18+ content is off by default and is unlocked only by your own age declaration, which is not verified.
1. Introduction
One Card Closer (the "app") is a conversation card and mini-game app for couples, friends and families, built for iOS and Android, in Turkish and English. It contains 48 games and 2,400 cards. One Card Closer is a mobile application developed by Boray Evirgen under the BEvn Labs brand and intended for release on iOS and Android (package ID com.bevnlabs.onecardcloser).
This policy explains which information the app uses, where that information stays, and what choices you have. It covers the mobile app. It does not cover visitors to the borayevirgen.com website; the data of website visitors is governed by the website Privacy Policy (see also section 12). "BEvn Labs" is the name under which the app is published; it is not a registered company.
2. Information the app uses
The app does not ask you to give personal information to the developer. To work properly, it keeps the following on your device only:
- Settings: language, theme, display options (for example, whether to show the Next button), and whether the welcome, theme and swipe tips were already shown.
- Favourites: the IDs of the cards you marked as favourites.
- Seen cards: the IDs of cards already shown in each game, so the same cards do not come back right away.
- Unfinished game: card order, progress, items marked done or skipped, option choices, votes and scores, and player names if you type any (optional; nicknames are fine). This is removed when the game ends or is abandoned.
- 18+ preferences: whether adult mode is on and whether you confirmed the age declaration.
The app does not listen to or record what players say aloud while playing, and it has no access to the microphone. The choices, answers, votes and results that the game engines keep (for example which option was picked, who voted for what, scores and seen cards) are stored locally on the device, in the same way as the items above.
Stored on your device is not the same as sent to us. The information above stays on your device. The developer does not receive it.
3. Storage and backups
The information is kept in the app's private storage on your device (a small preferences store and one game-session file). The developer does not operate a cloud server for the app.
Depending on your device settings, your operating system may include app data in device backups (such as iCloud Backup on iOS or Google's backup service on Android) or in device-to-device transfers. Those backups are managed by Apple or Google and by your own settings, and are subject to their policies. The developer has no access to them.
4. Accounts and membership
The app does not require an account. There is no registration, sign-in, membership or payment system.
5. Ads and third-party services
The current version does not use third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics or tracking user behaviour. Specifically, it contains:
- no ads and no AdMob;
- no in-app purchases and no subscriptions;
- no Firebase Analytics, and no other analytics, crash-reporting, Firebase, social-media or payment components.
The app is built with the open-source Flutter framework and three common Flutter packages used only for local storage (shared_preferences), finding the app's own folder (path_provider) and opening links in your browser (url_launcher). Fonts and all game content are bundled inside the app and are not downloaded.
If a future version adds any such service, this policy will be updated and the date at the top will change.
6. Device permissions
The app does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or notification permissions, and does not use advertising tracking (ATT). The Android release build does not request the internet permission.
7. Adult (18+) content
One Card Closer also offers optional content intended for adults. This content is turned off by default. Users must declare that they are an adult and enable the feature. The age declaration is not an identity check or official age verification.
Some games in the "Bold Questions" category include optional, text-only adult cards (90 of the 2,400 cards) that discuss sexuality openly.
- Adult mode is off by default. You can turn it on in Settings after declaring that you are 18 or older.
- The declaration is not verified. The app does not check an ID or a date of birth, and does not send the declaration anywhere. It is stored only on your device.
- You can turn the mode off at any time. The adult card files are part of the app package, but the app reads them only while adult mode is on. While it is off, adult cards are not loaded into the game or shown anywhere in the app. Adult cards carry an "18+" badge.
An age declaration is not age verification. Parents and guardians can use the parental controls built into the device and the app store.
8. Data sharing
Because the app does not send personal data to the developer, there is no personal data from the app for the developer to share, sell or disclose. The app contains no third-party components that receive information from it.
Apple and Google operate the app stores. They handle your downloads, store accounts and any payments under their own privacy policies. If you have enabled it in your device settings, they may also provide developers with aggregated or de-identified usage and crash statistics. These are not collected by the app itself and are outside the developer's control.
9. Retention and deletion
Information stays on your device until you remove it:
- An unfinished game is deleted when the game ends or you abandon it.
- You can remove favourites one by one, change your settings, and turn adult mode off at any time. A game's seen-card list restarts automatically once you have seen all of its cards.
- To remove everything at once, delete the app. On iOS, deleting the app removes its data from the device. On Android, uninstalling the app removes its data, or you can use "Clear storage" in the system app settings without uninstalling.
The current version has no single in-app "delete all data" button. Backups your operating system made earlier may still hold older copies until you delete them through Apple or Google.
10. Children and age limits
One Card Closer is a general-audience app with categories for couples, friends and families. It is not designed specifically for children, and it also offers an optional adult mode that is off by default and gated by an age declaration. Age ratings are set through the App Store and Google Play rating processes.
The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. We recommend that parents and guardians keep adult mode turned off on devices used by children and use the device's parental controls.
11. Your rights
The developer does not receive personal data from the app, so there is no app data held by the developer to access, correct, delete or export. You control the data on your device as described in section 9.
If you contact the developer, for example by email, your email address and message will be used only to answer you and for as long as needed to do so. You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of that correspondence at any time.
Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) may give you rights including access, correction, deletion, objection and the right to complain to a data protection authority (in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority; in the EU, your national data protection authority). To make a request, use the contact details in section 14.
12. This website and links
Settings contains links to borayevirgen.com and to its privacy page, from which this policy can be reached. A link opens in your device's browser only when you tap it. The app does not open it by itself.
Websites are separate from the app. The borayevirgen.com website is a separate service. What it processes about its visitors (including technical request data handled by its hosting provider) is described in the website Privacy Policy, not in this policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if the app's behaviour or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If a future version changes how the app uses information, this policy will be updated for it.
